Latch Assembly with Brass Finished Face Plate for Chute Intake Doors

This latch assembly is made up of the face plate and latch and has an adjustable 2-3/8" or a 2-3/4" set back from the back of the face plate to the spindle hole. The brass finish face plate is 1"x2-1/4" with a latch diameter of 7/8". The latch assembly does not include the trigger and spindle assembly available separately. Other types of chute intake door latches are available in 1-5/8" set-back and 1-11/16" set-back latch assemblies.

This style latch is used mostly in Culter Chutes intake doors and this is a direct replacement for same. See product spec's for detailed dimensions.

Some chute door manufacturers use one size (set back) for both side and bottom hinged intake doors while others use one size door latch for the bottom hinged chute intake door with another size door latch for the side hinged chute intake door. To determine the proper latch please see the attached spec's or send us a sample for replacement. Differences in size are small so care must be taken to ensure ordering of the correct part.
