Includes:

Operator: Replaceable "T" style handle with key and latch assembly. Select option to change to a pull handle w/ thumb latch trigger at no additional charge.
Door closer: Closer is exposed to the door opening for ease of replacement (wears quicker than the "W" Series because of exposure to waste.)
Door panel/frame: A 1/2” shaft and flanged bronze bearing hinge system is welded to the door and frame which cannot be removed/replaced. Made with 22 gauge type 304 stainless steel front with #4 finish and an 18 gauge galvannealed steel back.
Trim: Stainless Steel, available blank or embossed with "Rubbish", "Soiled Linen", or "Recycle" or without trim.

24v AC Electrical Interlock

Push button operation and in-use indicator light. Only one door can be opened at a time. This reduces clogging and enhances safety during peak usage. User must unlock the door by pressing the button then operating the latch or handle separately. Interlocks are normally locked, so during a power failure, the doors cannot be opened. All doors can be locked by turning off the power switch when working beneath the chute, reducing liability and injuries. Engineered for use on a Class 2 circuit, therefore, the intake door electrical panels and components are UL listed. Wiring is with exposed (no conduit required) cable inside the shaft in most applications. Check with your local building authority regarding installation requirements.

Requires a power supply to operate. Power supply is available for up to 20 doors or 20-40 doors. Systems for taller buildings with more than 40 doors are also available.

When ADA compliance is required, the door can be customized with an ADA compliant lever handle. There are no other accessory options for this door.

A direct replacement for: Valiant Products, Midland Chutes, Century Chutes and American Chutes and replaces easily with minimal wall damage. Can retrofit to other chutes with sheet metal adaptors and wall modifications to fit chute door openings the same nominal size. Replaces easily with minimal wall damage.
