Purchase this option to add a RAM-10 Compactor to your Bi- or Tri-Sort Recycling System. This compactor is designed to work with Western Chutes Recycling Systems, and a single power unit (included with the recycling system) controls both the sorter and the compactor, for simplified operation.

The RAM-10 is a computerized compactor with a space-saving footprint that features photo-eye operation with time delay and auto shut down after 15 minutes of continuous operation. OSHA listed safety interlock access doors are located on both sides of the hopper and an LCD operating and troubleshooting panel lets you easily control the compactor. Warning lights alert you when the container reaches 80% and 100% of capacity. The RAM-10 has a 5 horsepower motor, using 3 phase power on a 220/440 volt 60 hertz circuit. The compactor has a dual criss-cross cylinder design, a reinforced sloped hopper, hose and wiring for remote power pack installation, and an emergency stop button for on-demand control of the ram. This versatile compactor is also designed to be used as an automatic chute-fed or a manual hand-fed system and can easily accommodate a 3 cubic yard bin. The compactor unit is 47” long, 39” wide, and 69” high, and once a container is attached is approximately 114” long. See attached specs for this product before ordering.
