Rubber Baffle For 18" x 30" Vertical Type H Chute Discharge Doors
Top mounted rubber baffle with mounting angle for 18" wide trash chute or linen chute Type H vertical discharge door. The baffle is furnished loose for attachment to the top of the chute sheet metal throat just inside the door. It does not attach to door assembly. It may require some trimming in width or length to properly fit the chute.
Rubber baffles assist in reducing odor travelling up the chute to intake door openings at higher floors, can help reduce drafts, and can help to slow the momentum of linen or debris as it exits the discharge into the collection container. Baffles are fabricated from 1/4” thick, 60 durometer rubber. Each baffle has a steel mounting system at the top.
