Discharge Electro Thermal Link

ETL - multi-purpose, dual response fusible link / release device. In addition to the standard fusible link portion designed to melt at 165 degrees F, the link can also be actuated by an electrical impulse triggered by an instantaneous response to fire, smoke detector capable of supplying a short duration current impulse.  ETL draws no current and is inert until actuated.  Designed for indoor (or sheltered) dry use only.  UL listed device.  40lb maximum and 2lb minimum continuous tensile end pull weight rating. Dimensions1"x3 1/8"x 1/2" envelope w/ 1/2" square reinforced openings at the ends to allow attachment of "S" hooks, straps or other attachments. An 11/16" dia x 1/1/4" protruding cylinder containing the pyrotechnic heating element and attachment wires (IL 1018 wire class 1).. REQUIRES both an EI power pack and heat/smoke detector.
