Counterbalance Spring Hold-Open Assembly for up to a 24” Wide Vertical Discharge Door, “W” Series

This counterbalance assembly is used on “W” Series, top hinged, vertical discharge doors measuring 24”w x 30”h and smaller. The counterbalance assembly holds the discharge door panel open when the chute is not being cleaned. This assembly consists of one 19” long spring with 19” long sheath, two S-hooks, and one fusible link. The fusible link will melt when the ambient temperature reaches 165 degrees causing the door panel to slam shut. This is an integral part of the fire safety and labeling of the door. See attached spec's of this product before ordering.

The discharge door should remain open at all times, except when washing down the chute is necessary. Closing the door will force the water into the hopper’s built-in drain. DO NOT use the chute with the discharge door closed as the door will be damaged.
