17-1/2" Extended Gas Filled Chute Intake Door Closer for Bottom Hinged Intake Door, "M" Series

Heavy duty, extended, nitrogen filled, gas trash chute or linen chute intake door closer complete with clevis end on rod and cross drilled hex stock end on the cylinder. When measured from the mounting centers this extended closer measures 17-1/2" long. Cylinder is 19mm (.75") in diameter with a 8mm (.314") black nitrite finish rod. Closer has a 6.3" stroke to 11.2" compressed length with 28 pounds of force. This larger diameter cylinder and rod create a durable closer with smooth operation and improved control. Includes cotter key for mounting to the hex end.

This closer is the model currently used by Midland Chutes, formerly Midland Metalcraft, and has been tested on Century Chutes as an improvement over the Century Chute OEM lighter duty closer. This closer is used by many manufacturers. Please see product spec's to select the correct closer.
