2hp Trash Compactor Motor Starter / Contactor LC1D18
Trash compactor motor starter for Western Chutes, Compactors & Recycling Systems model 7227-2 stationary chute fed automatic trash compactors which utilize a 2hp 3ph motor and LC1D18 contactor. This non-reversing starter / contactor relay uses a 120vac control voltage and is rated up to 5hp at 200-240vac 3ph and 3hp at 230/240vac single phase with a 18 amp Inductive rating (AC3) and 32 amp resistive (AC1) rating.
Contactor mounts on a 35mm DIN Rail or with mounting screws (4) and requires the use of a Class 10 overload relay adjustable from 5.5 - 8 amps. Replaces contactors commonly used on 2hp stationary chute fed compactors manufactured by Western Chutes, Compactors and Recycling Systems, Wilkinson Chutes Canada, Metro Compactor and other manufactors.
