Coil for Hystar D03 Compactor Directional Control Valve, 110vac
Replacement Coil DSG-01-A1 for Hystar D03 Directional Control Valve as used on Wilkinson, Metro & Western trash compactors. This coil is used for a 110vac systems and is not rectified.
The coil is the electro-magnet which actuates the valve to change direction of the ram from forward to reverse, and back. When a coil burns out the ram only travels one direction, or in the case of a valve with a single coil, it doesn’t travel at all. The valve and coil must both be standard or rectified. A standard coil will not work in a rectified valve and visa-versa.
