Trash Compactor Directional Valve Complete Assembly, DO5 110vac Rectified

Complete Directional Control Valve with rectified coils and shock reducing valve assembly to be used as a replacement on Western, Metro & Wilkinson trash compactors and in all types of automated hydraulic equipment. This is a direct replacement for part number DSG-3C60-03-R110-3090-S.

The directional control valve controls the direction of the compactor ram from forward to reverse. If your compactor ram is not moving, or only moves in one direction, you may have a burnt out coil. The coil, DSG-03-R1,  is replaceable without removing or replacing the valve or needing a complete valve. If the unit is over 5 years old we recommend replacing the entire valve.

Valves and their corresponding coils are either standard or rectified. While standard valves can not be converted to rectified or visa-versa, either type may be used in the same application. A rectified coil will change the ram to a softer starting and shifting without as hard of a shift in direction.
